Becky May is a Manchester-based poet and recent graduate of The Manchester Writing School. Whilst studying for her MA in Poetry, she also worked as a Comino Poet in Residence and served as a judge for the Mother Tongue Other Tongue Poetry Competition. Her work has appeared in PN Review, 14 Magazine, and Ink, Sweat & Tears, amongst others.

Becky is a strong advocate for holding community in writing and can often be found at spoken word events, poetry festivals, and workshops. She also facilitates workshops of her own in poetry and fiction.

Having spent twelve years of her adult life in Granada, Spain, much of her recent writing seeks to capture her experiences there. She is working towards her first pamphlet.
